Northwest Day 20, 21, 22, 23 - Lincoln City, OR

We decided to stay two more days. I mean come on, super rad park not superpark. Just good home grown, down home skating. The locals are cool as long as you stay out of the way and don't mess around. MC would probably be ejected immediately. Ha

So that is the plan, two more days of radicalness. The snake run is insane. A lot of people call it "The Thing". It is a big burly deathly fast down hill with a love seat, pool block, pea rock and a big 13' bowl at the bottom.

A 7 year old and his 12 year old sister were shredding it this morning. I am just wondering who will be there this afternoon as the Oregon Trifecta is happening soon and all the rippers are coming into town anyway to beat the heat inland. I may be doing a lot of lurking, we'll see.

It is a great capstone to the trip though. It is also nice to relax a bit and prepare for the long journey home. We plan to either stay at Hood River over the weekend again and re-run a few Portland parks or just head out and spend a little more time skating Idaho and Colorado.

We'll see.

Hey- good write up.. Head up to Cannon beach.. Up there the other day. I have to say it is smaller, but super fun. Seaside is 10 minutes away- same designer, interesting. Lots of pool blocks.. Head back to PDX and you are on your way. You have to go about 40 mins to Pacific City. Cool surf spot, then got to Tillamook, Bay City (dreamland street park) and cannon beach is about 45 minutes away. Cool drive.
You can also head down to florence, then across to eugene and skate Harrisburg, than to Aumsville. Aumsville is the best vert park hands down.. Flow. Anyway there you go.. have a great rest of your trip
Tim
If you come through Aumsville, go up my way to sisters, redmond, madras.. than go to burns, boise and you are on your way..
