Northwest Day 10 - Burnside, Pier Park, West Linn, Holly Farm

The next adventure was West Linn. I really like this one too. It flows really well and just has a lot of available pool block. This is the park where Galloway gaps the roll in. Crazy! If you look to the second pic to the left, he does a front side air off of the right wall and over to the left one... It as a free Bacon vid Internet release a few years back.

There were a bunch of brats there who shook this other lid down and stole his can of Crush. They kept mouthing off and we gave it right back to them. It always seems the more affluent the area the more attitude on the kid.

The last park of the day was Holly Farm. It is a Portland skatespot, part of the initiative to build like 18 spots all around the city within 50 feet of public transportation so kids can get easy access!

The design is like a snail shell or curly cue. There are brick banks with super gnar un-waxed brick coping that acts as a roll in. There are a multitude of different transitions from mellow to super tight with metal coping and a curved spine in the center. Soooo fun. If you check the INDY 25th anniversary tour vid you will see some cool footy.

As you might guess, by the end of the day we were all quite tired. It has been an amazing trip so far but it does wear on you. This was Cappetto at park #2... Ugh. We were all just plain TIRED. But it is like, you have to keep going otherwise you will miss out on all of the gnar out there.

So we had our last night in the Vieto camp spot near Hood River and will head north in the morning. We tried to eat good at some char house but it was too pricey and ended up ordering burgers. I never eat burgers and that is all I am eating on this trip? Besides those cheap burritos . My colon is gonna have a meltdown. But I was hoping that I would get more aggressive with that red meat!!!
